The book is a collection of 17 articles, written by 12 authors from the Faroe Islands, Norway and Great Britain. The topics in the articles are very broad. The book contains articles with results from the latest research. Some articles compare historic monuments in Kirkjubø with other monuments of the past in Great Britain and in Scandinavia. In addition, there are articles on the history of research concerning the historic monuments in Kirkjubø. The book is rich illustrated, has 460 pages and will be published in Faroese and English.
